2015 var et godt år i spil, med udgivelsen af mange store titler sammen med mange indiske. De fineste af disse blev fejret i The Game Awards 2015, hvor over 10 priser blev præsenteret på scenen.
Showet startede klokken 18:00 P.S.T og løb i ca. 2 timer. Vinderne i forskellige kategorier blev tildelt i løbet af showet, med Game of the Year-prisen præsenteret i slutningen.
Witcher 3 blev endelig tildelt overordnet spil af året. Spillet var imod store titler som Metal Gear Solid V og Fallout 4. Den komplette liste over alle priser er angivet nedenfor.
Der var i alt 16 Jury stemte kategorier og seks Fan valg valg. Da dette ville gøre en meget lang liste nominerede til bestemte, er mindre populære kategorier ikke angivet.
